FBLA Info

FBLA logoHere at Polk County High School, FBLA is alive and well. In our chapter, we have a total of 52 members, and are always accepting more! To join our chapter, you must pay membership dues of $12. Once you become a member, you'll learn that we spend a good part of the year preparing for our competitions in spring.

During this time, we master the newest software, practice our speeches, and perfect our professional dress. All of this is a precursor to our regional, state, and national competitions held from the spring to the middle of summer. Joining you in these conferences will be your officers and your advisor, Dewey Esquinance.

FFA Info

FFA logo"Future Farmers of America" was founded by a group of young farmers back in 1928. Their mission was to prepare future generations for the challenges of feeding a growing population. They taught us that agriculture is more than planting and harvesting-- it's a science, it's a business and it's an art.

FFA continues to help the next generation rise up to meet those challenges by helping its members to develop their own unique talents and explore their interests in a broad range of career pathways. Competing in these events as school, we are an integral part in this movement for better agricultural education.
